Quside, a leading Catalan company in quantum technology, has secured more than 10 million euros in funding to accelerate the growth of its revolutionary technology that offers advanced randomness solutions for chip manufacturers and other technology and cybersecurity companies. This new injection of capital will allow Quside to make its technology more scalable, meaning it can reach a much larger market at a cheaper price than it currently does. This could revolutionize the field of cybersecurity and technology, enabling faster and more secure random number generation at scale.

The company, a spin-off from the prestigious Institute of Photonic Sciences of Castelldefels (ICFO), has managed to attract important investment funds such as Trumpf Ventures, BullnetCapital, Demium Capital and TechVision Capital, in addition to the Catalan Institute of Finance.

In 2019, he started a project under the Industrial Doctorate Plan to do research focused on optimization with advanced physical models and complex systems using quantum random number generators. The PhD student has been studying the utility of some physical systems as a foundation for new computing platforms, with a particular focus on systems that use random trials with quantum random number generators.
