1. What is the minimum grade to access the Industrial Doctorates?

6.5/10. It is calculated on all the studies that give access to the doctorate. It is generally a bachelor's degree and a university master's degree. In any case, you must contact the university responsible for the doctoral programme to guarantee access with the corresponding studies.

2. Is it necessary to meet all the requirements of the offer?

Yes, unless clearly stated otherwise.

3. How can I submit a candidacy for a PROPOSAL?

You can check the projects that are looking for a candidate in Projects on the website. In summary, it is necessary to fill in the section DATA TO BE FILLED IN BY THE CANDIDATE of the DI proposal for which the application is to be submitted and send the resulting form to the email address doctorats.industrials.recerca@gencat.cat

4. Is it possible to apply for more than one candidacy at the same time?

Yes, as long as the requirements of each offer are met.

5. How can I find out the status of my application?

It is up to the company/university to communicate the status of the application to potential interested parties.

COMPANY/UNIVERSITY

1. Which entities can act as an academic environment?

All research organisations based in Catalonia, including universities, research centres, hospital foundations and technology centres.

2. What type of companies or entities can act as a business environment?

All companies and entities, including those belonging to the public sector of the Generalitat, that cannot act as an academic environment. Whether the company or entity representing the business environment is located outside Catalonia, or if it belongs to the public sector of the Generalitat, the modality must be that of specific grants.

3. Who are the parties involved in presenting a project?

There must be at least one company or entity representing each of the environments, economic and business, but others may participate.

4. What requirements must the thesis supervisor have?

The thesis supervisor must be part of a recognized research group (SGR) of the Generalitat de Catalunya, be an ICREA researcher or have obtained funding from the European Research Council (ERC).

5. WHAT ARE THE BASIC STEPS OF AN ID PROJECT?

First, send the duly completed proposal form to the email address doctorats.industrials.recerca@gencat.cat, for publication.

Secondly, make the selection of the candidate.

Finally, apply for the grant through the Virtual Procedures Office (VPO) of the Generalitat de Catalunya and attach the required documentation (collaboration agreement, selection report, document of admission to the doctorate and certificates of the academic record of the selected candidate).
