In the current framework of the construction industry, over the years, the experience acquired has reached a working method that is applied both in the design and execution stages. These techniques are reaching their obsolescence due to the pressure of society to obtain results in a short period of time, a reduced cost and a social and environmental commitment of mandatory compliance.
Therefore, everything indicates that a new methodology must be developed to cover new needs, this is the objective of the ASHVIN project, where through "Digital Twin" technology, the integration of IoT (internet of things) and image processing technology, it is expected to obtain a high improvement in productivity, cost reduction and ensure safe working conditions.
The ASHVIN project is formed by an agglomerate, at European level of companies and universities with the support of the European Union, which studies the development of new digital tools for application to civil, industrial and building engineering.
