BMAT, a music technology company, has received the José Manuel Lara Award for Ambition and Business Purpose at the 39th Cercle d'Economia Meeting. The aim of this award is to recognise those business projects with a great purpose that grow, scale and end up becoming consolidated and stable companies.
The company BMAT has developed two industrial doctorate projects in collaboration with Pompeu Fabra University, one of which has already been completed. The company aims to connect the entire global music industry through an operating system powered by machine learning and copyright expertise. BMAT has received several awards, including the 2019 Barcelona SME of the Year and has a great reputation in its sector.
