The Innovacat Awards 2022 already have winners. After the forced stop due to the pandemic, the eighth edition has recognized Neurekalab as a Young Company and GasN2itrogen in the Avanza category. The verdict was made public on the evening of Thursday, October 27, at a gala that filled the Colonia Rusiñol in Manlleu.
In this year's edition 34 companies participated, half in each category, of very diverse typology, from totally industrial to focused on services to people, through very innovative companies or social economy. Of those, 32 passed the cut and were able to defend their project for three minutes in front of the jury.
The event was conducted by the well-known journalist Cristina Puig. This year there has been a commitment to a change of format and on stage there has been a conversation between three experts in entrepreneurship. The participants were Joan Font, general director of the Bon Preu Group; Genís Roca, president of Fundacio.cat; and Elisenda Tarrats, research professor and coordinator of the UVic UCC Entrepreneurship Unit.
