Project description
This research project focuses on the development of the hardware (electronic and mechanical) necessary for various clinical diagnostic applications.
The company has begun the development of a disruptive microwave-based colorectal cancer diagnostic system. This line, therefore, will focus the first 18 months of the thesis project.
The second half of the project will consist of the development of other medical devices for the diagnosis of other diseases, such as other oncological diseases, other gastrointestinal diseases or other therapeutic areas (rheumatology, dentistry, etc.).
The thesis will lead to a multidisciplinary work that combines electronics, mechanical design and integration with signal processing software. There will also be national and international collaborations with research centers and other companies, with which the doctoral student must interact.
