Industrial Doctorates from the Department of Public Law of the Rovira i Virgili University (URV)

The industrial doctoral theses in the Department of Public Law of the URV are promoting collaboration between the university and the business world, promoting research and innovation in Catalonia.

Last February, Roger Càmara Mas defended his doctoral thesis "The horizontal administrative career. Special reference to local administration" within the framework of the doctoral programme in Law at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) and the Industrial Doctorates Plan of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

This doctoral thesis is the second to be funded by the Industrial Doctorates Plan in the Department of Public Law. Through this plan, the intersection between the academic and business worlds is promoted, fostering a symbiotic relationship that benefits both parties. The main objective of the Plan is to establish strong links between companies, institutions and universities, with a clear focus on research, development and innovation (R+D+I).

In summary, industrial doctoral theses in the Department of Public Law represent a new era of interaction between the university and the business world. Through these collaborations, innovation is promoted, real problems are solved and economic and social growth is boosted. With a focus on interdisciplinary research and practical impact, these theses are a shining light towards the future of research in Catalonia.
