Descripció del projecte

This project will be oriented toward the development and implementation of fault detection and diagnosis methodologies to improve the robustness and performance of industrial factories and dynamical processes, mainly focusing on both electrical and mechanical systems. The main contribution of this project will be the generation of novel fault detection and diagnosis methodologies based on recent algorithms and tools related to signal processing techniques, system identification and classification methods that allow the monitoring of specific types of faults in the analysis of dynamic systems. Such methodologies must be able to perform in transient and stationary states of the analyzed dynamical systems. The main challenges raised by the project are to generate fault detection and diagnosis methodologies using non-intrusive mechanical and power consumption sensors for the analyzed dynamical systems. On the other hand, the analysis and generation of condition indicators of specific elements of dynamical systems during both transient and stationary states will be a challenge during the development of this project. Aingura IIoT has the required test benches for the validation of such methodologies over machines and dynamical systems, which will be fully available for the doctoral project.
