The Generalitat promotes the industrial doctorates plan, a program that provides companies with financial endowment for the three years of the research project and the doctoral thesis, as well as deductions and tax credits for R+D+I activities. The objective is to attract talent to contribute to the competitiveness and internationalization of Catalan industry. Although the weight of industry represents 36% of the GDP of Anoia, higher than the average of the country, no company in the region has yet adhered to the plan. To make it known, the Unió Empresarial de l'Anoia organizes on Monday, at 6 p.m., at its headquarters a conference with the experiences of the doctoral student from Anoia Ricard Espelt, the metallurgical company AUSA from Manresa and the chemical company Cromogenia Units, from Barcelona.
