The Industrial Doctorates Plan celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. During this first decade of operation, the program of the Department of Research and Universities has involved 530 companies, the 12 Catalan universities, 25 research centers of Catalonia (CERCA), other research bodies in Catalonia (CSIC, BSC, Eurecat, among others), which together have involved more than 600 researchers.
To celebrate this anniversary, we present the first edition of the 2022 Impact Awards for Industrial Doctorates. The aim of this competition is to make visible the impact generated by the collaborative research of the different industrial doctorate projects, as well as to bring this research closer to the public in order to identify challenges (current or future) and anticipate what type of impact it would generate.
Ā
BASES OF THE COMPETITION
Participation in the Impact Awards 2022 competition for Industrial Doctorates implies acceptance and compliance with the following rules:
I. PURPOSE
The Industrial Doctorates Plan (DI Plan) of the Generalitat de Catalunya organizes the 2022 Impact Awards competition for Industrial Doctorates. The competition aims to:
- Visualize the impact generated by the industrial doctorate projects funded by the Generalitat de Catalunya from different perspectives: in general society, in the company or institution itself, in the professional development of people.
- Bring Industrial Doctorates closer to the public in order to identify challenges (current or future) and anticipate what kind of impact they would generate. It is hoped that these proposals can be future applications for the call for DI grants.
