Descripció del projecte

The aim of this project is to research low-cost sensors for explosives detection, in collaboration between a doctoral student and a company specialized in security technology. The main objective is to design or adapt sensors capable of identifying these risks in an efficient, accessible and scalable way, facilitating their implementation in civil, industrial or emergency environments.

The project will address both the physical design of the sensor and the development of advanced algorithms for processing the collected data. Artificial intelligence techniques, such as machine learning and predictive analysis, will be explored to improve the accuracy, reliability and responsiveness of the system. This synergy between devices and artificial intelligence will allow for a scalable, low-cost and energy-efficient explosives detection system, enabling its deployment in large areas, thus contributing to the protection of people and infrastructure from security threats.
