Fluidra, a company based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, has been awarded the "Trajectòria" Award in the sixth edition of the Revolution 4.0 Entrepreneur Awards of Catalunya Ràdio. Founded in 1969, Fluidra has established itself as a world leader in the swimming pool and wellness sector, operating in almost fifty countries and with an annual turnover exceeding two billion euros. His participation in the Industrial Doctorate Program includes projects such as "C ontribution to the development of design methodologies for manufacturing with additive technologies " and " Sustainable analysis of the life cycle of swimming pools ". The projects developed by Fluidra in collaboration with the University of Vic - Universitat Central de Catalunya and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya have been strategic in the company's success, highlighting the importance of collaboration between the academic sector and business
The sixth edition of the Revolución 4.0 Entrepreneurs Awards has distinguished nine innovative projects or initiatives, in a ceremony which was attended by Jordi Borda, director of Catalunya Ràdio, and Xantal Llavina, presenter of the program "Revolution 4.0".
