Descripció del projecte

The goal of this “Doctorat Industrial” is to apply advanced Artificial Intelligence for the purpose of a better understanding of food and bev categories.

Nowadays, standard practice is to combine consumer acceptances with sensory analysis to identify drivers of liking. The aim of this work is to include additional consumer characteristics to identify new key drivers for each identified segment.

Special challenge is how to apply deep learning techniques in supervised and unsupervised analyses to optimize the problem when relatively short amount of data is available. With these new tools, the company would be able to deliver better recommendations to their clients and thus improve the success ratio when launching products in the market.
