President Mas refers to the Industrial Doctorates Plan in the presentation of ten strategic government action projects
Yesterday afternoon, the President of the Government of Catalonia, Artur Mas, presented two strategic government action projects. At a press conference held in the Palau de la Generalitat, the President outlined this programme which ‘aims to strengthen government structures to promote strategic projects, including a number of new ones’.
During the explanation of the policy project at the service of the industrial and business fabric, the head of the executive spoke about ‘consolidating the Industrial Doctorates Plan to facilitate the entry of academic and research talent into companies to favour competitiveness’. In the President’s words, ‘a new call for applications is planned for the month of March, with the aim of promoting a further 75 industrial doctorate projects and to contribute to the competitiveness and internationalisation of the Catalan industrial fabric’.
Since the start of the Plan at the end of 2012, more than 150 projects have been developed in Catalonia, with 150 trainee researchers and more than 120 participating companies and projects, with a total public-private investment of 21.8 million euros.
