Industrial doctorate student places second in ASM International metallographic contest
Anna Regordosa, industrial doctorate student, placed second in the ASM International metallographic contest. She earned her second-place position with her SEM micrographs, created as part of her doctorate, in the ‘Artistic Microscopy (Black and White)’ category.
Anna began her industrial doctorate in 2012 with the project ‘Innovation and Development of the Metallurgic Process in Spheroidal and Laminar Graphite Iron' at the company Fundería Condals, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona. According to Regordosa, ‘doing an industrial doctorate was a good opportunity to make contact with the business world while continuing my academic training’.
