Workshop on Industrial Doctorates

The Industrial Doctorates Plan promotes the study of doctoral degrees linked to overcoming challenges in specific businesses and organizations. Both in the case of wanting to complete a doctoral thesis in the professional world, and in the case of being part of a company likely to incorporate this type of talent, the Government of Catalonia has the opportunities offered by its Industrial Doctorates Plan.

Do you want to study for a doctoral degree and wonder what your best option might be? Do you want to know if you can take advantage of its benefits in your business? Register for the workshop organized by the UOC on 1 March – from 7 pm to 9 pm – at its Tibidabo centre (Avinguda Tibidabo 39, Auditorium), when we will discover real experiences and you will be able to ask all the questions you see fit regarding your specific situation. The activity is free: if you would like to attend, just complete the following registration form.

You can find more information about the workshop programme at this link.

The Industrial Doctorates Plan

The Industrial Doctorates Plan is an initiative of the Government of Catalonia, based on established international references – France (CIFRE) and Denmark (Industrial PhD Programme) – and is aimed at contributing to the competitiveness and internationalization of the Catalan industrial fabric, attracting and retaining talent and placing doctoral students in a position to conduct research and innovation projects in a company. Its essential element is a strategic research project for a company that will be conducted in cooperation with a university and that will lead to a doctoral thesis.

“R&I Meeting Days” cycle

This activity is part of the UOC "R&I Meeting Days" cycle, with which the University schedules an activity of interest led by experts and aimed at anyone interested in different aspects of research and innovation. Previously, these activities were part of the "Thursdays with the Research and Knowledge Transfer Support Office (OSRT)" cycle.
